The Road to the Super Bowl….

December 21, 2008

… in the NFC is going through the Meadowlands. Giants clinched the 1st seed in a great, overtime ending game with the Panthers where the offensive line just dominated the Panthers defensive line and racked up 300+ rushing yards.

All I have to say is that next week’s game shouldn’t be “meaningless”… we all know what happened with the so-called “meaningless” game last year against the Patriots. The Giants are playing a team this coming week that they could potentially match up against in the playoffs in the next couple weeks, and I think that they should give the Vikings their all.

GO GIANTS!

Busy, busy, busy…

December 12, 2008

Well, there’s a lot going on right now so I really haven’t updated this lately.  Just a little bit stressed out, but frankly, who isn’t?  I am starting a new job which I am nervous about, but I guess that’s pretty normal.  That’s the biggest thing.  I’m sad to be leaving my old job because I will miss the people there… and I will obviously miss one person in particular so much.

Plus, it’s Christmas time so it’s really the most hectic time of the year.  And I need to figure out what I am going to buy people.  I want to get them things that they actually want, so that can sometimes be tough.  People keep asking me what I want, and really, I have no idea.  I haven’t even had time to think about it.  My birthday is coming up and I don’t really want anything and I don’t want people to spend their money on me.  I’d much rather have them save it and treat themselves to something since people don’t have as much money this year with this terrible economy.

Anyways, I’m pretty happy that the Yankees signed Sabathia.  I figure, screw it, let them spend as much money as they want… I’m never going to be able to go to a game anyway with their damn ticket prices.  So just blow every team out of the water and take advantage of the fact that baseball has no salary cap (which is stupid in itself) and offer tons of money to all the free agents.  They’ll lose all their draft picks but it’s obvious that they aren’t willing to just save money for the future, because after one year of using that form of thinking and then not making the playoffs, the pressure is on.

The Giants are 11-2 and NFC East champions.  Not much else to say except that Plaxico is an idiot.

And here’s Steve Young getting hit in the face with a cup:

A pretty random post, but most of these are.  Take it easy.

Ghostbusters – The Video Game

December 5, 2008

You’ll be reminiscing playing this game, guaranteed.  The movies are great, and they got the original actors minus Rick Moranis to do all the voices… this should be good.

Check out the trailer.
